Kevin Gates delivers a direct and emotionally charged street record on “What He Say,” a track centered on perception, loyalty, and reacting to betrayal and outside opinions.

The song finds Gates addressing rumors, misunderstandings, and the way words and actions from others can shift relationships in the streets. His delivery is sharp and controlled, moving between melodic cadences and firm rap verses that emphasize clarity and confidence.
