Ghanaian music executive and hitmaker Smallgod returns with a fresh new release titled “Ashes,” featuring AratheJay and Suspect OTB.

The song blends Afro-fusion melodies with street-inspired lyricism, creating a reflective record centered around survival, ambition, and rising above challenges. Smallgod once again showcases his ability to bring different talents together on a well-balanced collaboration.

AratheJay delivers smooth and emotional vocals that add depth to the track, while Suspect OTB brings sharp verses and raw street energy that balance the melodic side of the record. Their performances complement each other naturally over the polished instrumental.

“Ashes” features mellow production layered with rhythmic percussion, atmospheric sounds, and catchy hooks that give the track both emotional weight and replay value. The song’s mood reflects perseverance and growth despite difficult experiences.

With this release, Smallgod continues strengthening his influence in African music by connecting emerging talents and pushing contemporary Ghanaian sounds to wider audiences. “Ashes” stands as another solid addition to his growing catalog of collaborative records.
